I have been soooo bad about exercising. My meals have been good, however arriving home after 5:30 does NOT motivate me to change my clothes and work out. I have a late day tomorrow, but I REALLY want to work out, even if it is for 5 minutes at a time. Bit by bit. I will keep plugging along! Really.... I will at least try. I need to expect MORE out of me. I CAN DO IT!

30 Day Challenge to a Healthier Me

My 30 Day Challenge began today on becoming more healthy with the focus on lowering my blood pressure. I have not been to the gym in 6 months and have dropped my membership due to our having a home gym. The problem is, I have not utilized the home gym. Not good. I went it and turned on my iPod. It took awhile to get it going on the deck and I decided on Michael Jackson's Top 10. So far, great. I tried the bike, I was dying after 2-3 minutes. Yikes. Not good. I moved to the rowing machine. OUCH! I did 3-4 minutes and needed to stop. I walked around, rinsed some dishes. I went back and did another 5 minutes. It was killer, but Michael Jackson helped! Ouch!! I snacked on baby carrots during the SuperBowl and not chips. Small steps. Small steps.
